I shared this link with some friends and offered that I like Escapades because it harkens back to vintage fusion.
One friend commented that Jack Gardiner reminded him of Pat Metheny and Joe Satriani, while another said Jeff Beck and Gary Hoey.
Favorite track: SkyBluePink (feat. Owane).
Perfect melodies with light and dreamy atmosphere. Highly recommended for Guthrie Govan fans and people who prefer soulful music, without
demonstration of technique. Jack, thank you, bro! Cheers from Moscow! "Escapades" is soundtrack of this summer
Favorite track: 1993.
Jack is a great guitar player with an excellent sense of melody, following along by a soulful playing. A non boring guitar instrumental album is the toughest thing to achieve and thankfully Jack nailed it here. A must for all the 6-string lovers :)
Favorite track: Lark Lane.
Jack has a fantastic sense of melody, sick rhythm and timing, and fantastic technique. He plays things that are equal parts beautiful and scary - what more could you ask for? Except more!
Favorite track: Cereal Killer.
Blimey, that's a bit of a step up! What a stunning opener.
The title track is great, too.
There's so much more range here than on previous outings - it really is wonderful to listen.
